KVM server — quick answers
Do I get real root access?
Yes. The server is fully virtualized (KVM), you have root and can run your own kernel, Docker, light nested virtualization — whatever you need.
How fast is the server ready?
It sets itself up automatically right after payment. Usually you're in over SSH within a minute or two.
Can I upgrade without reordering?
Yes, in the panel under "Resources". CPU and RAM apply on the next restart, disk can only grow. Cost is billed pro rata for the remaining term.
What happens at the end of the term?
Without a balance-funded renewal, the server is stopped after a grace period and later deleted. Nothing renews automatically unless you turn on auto-renewal.
Which IP addresses do I get?
At least one public address, so you can reach and manage the server. Whether that is IPv4, IPv6 or both depends on the location and the platform you pick — the configurator shows it before you order. IPv6 is free where the location offers it; an IPv4 address costs extra. Choose "IPv6 only" and the IPv4 share of the price drops out.
Is DDoS protection really included?
Yes, at no extra cost and no extra item in the cart. It is active as soon as the server runs — nothing to switch on.
