New: help center and blog, and you can write along
All guides in one place, clear and reviewed. And if you know your stuff, write one yourself and earn credit for it.
From today our guides are collected in the new help center. There is also this blog, where we write about new features, background and what we learn while building.
Why?
Many support questions come up again and again: How do I add an SSH key? How do I connect my domain to my server? Why does my mail land in spam? The answers should not disappear in individual tickets but be findable for everyone. We start with eight guides, among them:
- SSH keys and turning off password login
- The panel firewall and UFW inside the server
- Minecraft servers with Paper, plugins and your own domain
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC
Every guide names the buttons exactly as they appear in your account, and every command can be copied with one click.
Write along and earn credit
You set up a reverse proxy, got a modpack running or perfected your backup routine? Then write it down. Under Guides in your account there is an editor with a preview. You write in German or English and submit the guide when it is ready.
We read every submission, check the steps and get back to you by email. If something is missing, we tell you exactly what. Once the guide is published, it appears in the help center under your name, and we say thank you with credit. If you like, worth a renewal of your server.
What comes next
We will extend the help center step by step. If a guide is missing, open a ticket. Or write it yourself right away.
